Christian Guiltenane is Assistant Editor at Attitude
With a childhood dream of wanting to write for Smash Hits, Christian Guiltenane finally kick started his journalistic career by working for an online entertainment news gatherer MRIB which supplied music and entertainment content to Ananova, a massive news site from the early 2000s. He joined Star magazine as Reviews Editor, then joined OK! magazine as News Editor. He is currently Assistant Editor at Attitude magazine and has written eight celebrity biographies, most recently Spencer Matthews’ Confessions Of A Chelsea Boy.
On judging the NUS Awards 2014, Christian said;
“It really was very hard to choose between the five candidates. They all demonstrated amazing skills and talent and enthusiasm and it genuinely fills my heart with joy that these five young journalists are so passionate about what they do and that they want to make this their chosen career! Good luck to them all in the future and I hope they enjoy what comes their way as much as I have. There will be ups and downs along the way, but they will also look back with pride when they realise that they have educated or entertained someone.”
